Mates4Mates Online Arts Therapy

To assist Mates and their family members in managing and improving their mental health, we’re offering our Arts Therapy Program online.

Arts Therapy is designed to initiate change and growth through artistic expression, in a safe and supportive environment and is particularly helpful for any veteran or family member who may find it difficult to verbalise or conceptualise their feelings.

Our Online Arts Therapy Program will run for four sessions and is facilitated by qualified practitioner, Jasmine Wright. The program will support participants to increase self-awareness and overall wellbeing; develop new skills in a fun, creative and safe therapeutic setting; and feel connected to and further explore self-identity through creative arts-making processes; and create social connectedness and provide an opportunity for shared understanding and learning within a group context.

Upcoming program:

  • Every Tuesday, starting from 5 July – 26 July 2022
  • 12:00pm – 1:00pm (AEST)
  • Online

Online Arts Therapy Program Expression of Interest

Due to receiving a high volume of EOIs for our programs, please take the time to provide thoughtful and considered responses to the following questions. This is to confirm that participants selected for the program meet our requested criteria.

To ensure that participants for the program are selected fairly, all EOI submissions will be assessed individually to identify which participants have meet the requirements of the EOI and are most suitable to attend the program.

Please note, we are unable to keep EOIs on file as a waitlist for future programs. All programs require individual EOIs to be submitted.

If you selected no because you are not an inducted Mates4Mates member and would like to take part, simply complete your Mates4Mates application online and our team will be in touch soon.
