Men's Health Week Program

Are you a male veteran who is looking to improve their physical and mental health?

Then the Men’s Health Week Program may be for you.

What is the Men’s Health Week Program?

The Men’s Health Week Program is designed to help men increase their awareness and understanding of men’s health topics and increase their physical and psychological wellbeing skills.

Over the two days, a range of group sessions will include exercise physiology, psychology, arts therapy, nutrition and pelvic health.

This group program will aim to help men increase their confidence in managing their conditions and become more educated on various management strategies.

The program will be held at our Family Recovery Centres in Brisbane, Townsville and Hobart, and the Interim Centre in Darwin.

Lunch will be provided on both days. Please indicate any dietary requirements within the expression of interest form.

Please note, the Darwin, Townsville and Hobart program will include virtual sessions.

Details:

  • Friday, 17 June – Saturday, 18 June 2022
  • 9:00am to 3:00pm

Expressions of interest close Friday, 27 May 2022, however, expressions of interest may close sooner if a large volume of applications are received. It is therefore recommended that expressions of interest are submitted as soon as possible.

Places in the program are dependent on meeting the selection criteria. Please note submitting an expression of interest does not automatically qualify an applicant for the next step in the selection process for this program.

Places in the program are available to veterans registered with Mates4Mates. If you are not an inducted Mates4Mates member and would like to take part, simply complete your Mates4Mates application online and our team will be in touch soon.
